Prices are dependent on your individual requirements; please do not hesitate to contact Laura for a quotation.

The table below provides a rough guide, based on one horse (or other animal) on a plain background. Detailed backgrounds generally increase the price of the painting by 25%, and additional animals a further 20%.

Laura is happy to consider working on a canvas of any size, the list above simply covers the more popular dimensions. Paintings are produced on traditional stretched canvases however a deep sided canvas (which does not require framing), or canvas board can be used if you would prefer.

Where possible, Laura prefers to have the opportunity to meet her subjects, and take her own photographic reference material to work from. If you would like the portrait completed using your own photographs you will need to provide at least one sharp, clear, and detailed photograph on which you would like the portrait based, with several other photographs capturing the correct coat colours etc to support it. Laura is not able to work from low resolution or blurry photos. All reference photographs must be free of copyright for legal reasons.

Payment may be made by cheque, or by credit/debit card via PayPal. A deposit of 20% is payable before work commences. Once your painting has been completed a photograph of the work will be sent for your approval; on receipt of the remaining balance the portrait will be shipped to you. Figures quoted are inclusive of postage and packaging within the UK; paintings are sent via Royal Mail's recorded next day delivery service.

Laura Barber-Riley reserves copyright on all final commissioned portraits. Commissioned portraits will not be reproduced without permission of the customer. Work may be displayed on Laura's website, other related sites, and advertising material, unless you advise that you would prefer it not to.

Laura is happy to arrange framing through her usual framer at additional cost.
